Changes for 2008
Due to the increasing costs of business, we will be raising our monthly rate to $950.00 as of January 2008.This will not effect any dogs currently in training program. This will include birds, Heartworm, and Frontline. Instead of bringing in more dogs and lowering the quality of training, we will be lowering the number of dogs to 8 and increasing the time we spend with each animal.
The plan is to turn out extremely high quality competition and hunting dogs. In the future we hope to cater to each hunters specific needs based on there style of hunting and blind set up.
The saying, "you get what you pay for" has never been more true. Divide the amount of dogs into a 10 hour work day. How much attention can your dog be getting? We are attempting to change the status quo and train for quality not quantity.

Our Monthly rate is $950.00 This rate includes food, board, training birds, heart worm meds, and Frontline flea and tick preventative. We Feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan Performance.Program Description

The basic program is approximately 6-9 months long. (Force fetch through Swim-by) Each dog will undergo a one month evaluation before they will be excepted into the program. Results may very. Not all retrievers possess the skills to be competitive in Field Trials.· Transition training will be started upon completion of the basic program. During this period the dog learns to use the "basics" in real life situations. This typically takes 2-4 months. We introduce concept marking, several wagon wheel drills, cheating singles, and water tune up drills. Your dog should understand typical corrections and be comfortable working through those situations.
General Information

Dogs should be at least 6 months old to start the Basics program. It is helpful if the dog has been introduced to some on leash obedience. The dog should also have a strong retrieving instinct. Keep it fun and let them love it!· Any birds used during training will be added to the monthly bill.
· Any Veterinary services are the responsibility of the owner. These charges will be added into the next monthly bill. This includes Heart worm medication and Frontline Flea and Tic Preventative. Both will be purchased and dispensed at the owners request.
· All incoming dogs will be required to have proof of Rabies and a kennel cough vaccine. You will also be required to sign a hold harmless for the business and property access. To expedite the process the forms will soon be available for down load.

Private training lessons: Available on Mondays only. $100.00 per hour- *One hour minimum. Anything over one hour will be prorated into half hour increments. I will help you with the basic program or problem areas related to the foundation work.
Day training is also available Thurs.
